High Summer

High Summer also called Lamas and Lughnasadh is the first of three pagan festivals celebrating the harvest of the year. This harvest is normally of grains like wheat. I can only imagine the toils of bringing in the harvest during the hottest months of the year.

This is the time when we give thanks for all the Mother has and is still producing. While the power of the Sun God is waning.

Colors should be that of a grain harvest.
Offerings should include grain based item. "Traditionally" a man made of bread was made and offered.
A re-enactment of a man going from Father to Sage would be appropriate.
