Drawing Down or Charging
There are is variety of "Drawing Down" that you can do. You can "Draw Down" the sun, moon, god(dess). The act is essentially the invoking of some larger spiritual essence into a vessel. This can be accomplished in a few ways and varies depending on what vessel is being used. *** Generally speaking when someone says Drawing Down they are referring to Drawing Down the Moon. This is when a Female invokes the Goddess and is considered to be a beautiful thing resulting in various "boons". Personally, I group "Charging" and "Drawing Down" together, because you are moving energy in a very similar manner. In both cases you are adding or changing a vessel's energy structure to suit a purpose. This is done through the various types of magic; projective, subtractive, sympathetic and contagious.
